Hilton Harriers FC was established in 1992 to provide access to football for children in the local rural community. It has grown substantially in this time until in 2002 we became the first club in Derbyshire to be awarded the prestigious "FA Charter for Clubs", this standard recognises good practice and a safe environment for children's sport. This award also lead to the club winning the East Midlands FA Charter Standard Club of the year in 2002. For Season 2003-2004 we have 30 FA qualified coaches and 35 coaches and volunteers who have completed the FA child protection course. These volunteers are operating 11 teams in local boys and girls leagues as well as providing access to younger children to football via our highly successful "Saturday Club."
